Vintage Style
Clitheroe's new tearoom and boutique "Callooh! Callay!" uses Floorink as a spectacular focal point which enhances it's vintage ambience.
A historical map of the local area was scaled to fit the tearoom's floor plan, and then printed onto our vinyl cushion floor product. Floorink is perfect for a cafe or restaurant environment as it is a very hardwearing floor and very easy to clean. The roll width of 4m also meant that the map could be produced and fitted as one sheet of printed flooring.
Floorink has given this outlet a completely unique floor and creates as instant talking point with the customers. Owner Rebecca Lambert says that customers always try to find their homes and schools on the vintage map floor, and reminisce on how the town used to look.
Callooh! Callay! combines this fabulous vintage map flooring with upside down teacup and teapot lighting, Alice in Wonderland themed flamingo wallpaper and Mad Hatter Tea Party-esque crockery to create a colourful and quirky atmosphere.
I cant wait to go and have a look around the shop, and enjoy a nice cup of tea!
In their own words :
"A quirky little tearoom in the heart of Clitheroe, combining all things vintage with a contemporary twist. Unwind with one of our specially blended teas, devour a delicious homemade cake and then take time to browse our beautiful jewellery, cards and fancy goods
...or indulge yourself with the ultimate British afternoon tea!"

Liverpool Makeover with Custom Made Wallpaper
Here at Printed Space, we are quite used to being asked to reproduce weird and wonderful photographs onto our printed wallpaper – however: when our artwork team opened up the package from make-up artist Kate Donnelly even they were a little surprised. Could we recreate a wallpaper using her favourite dress that was carefully wrapped up in the parcel?!
Never one to say “No”, our artwork team set about scanning, and photographing the dress, then used Photoshop to recreate a repeat pattern.
Our installation team went to the new salon on Liverpool’s Dale Street to measure the interior space to ensure the new design was the correct size and scale.
The resulting wallpaper really adds to the lively atmosphere inside the new salon : Peaches and Cream. We also printed a forest mural with a splash of shocking pink for the reception and seating area, and a bespoke wallpaper using their own artwork.
Peaches and Cream specialize in Bridal make up, Bridal hair and creative makeovers for all ages and occasions. Sharon from our sales team took along her daughter Leila who was given this amazing butterfly themed hair and face paint makeover!
Visit Peaches and Cream for further details on their make up services.

Travel the World with Printed Space
Our World Map mural was used recently in this inspiring photoshoot for Ideal Home. Printed Space was featured in their Travel the World article, for which the wallpaper created an impressive backdrop.
There is something about looking at a world map that I find addictive. We are surrounded with them here at Printed Space, in the form of wall murals, canvas prints and printed flooring - either on screen having artwork tweaks; on our printers; spread across the quality control room or being packaged up for shipping to customers around the world - so its a good job we admire the maps so much! We have been producing the world map wallpaper and other map products for over 5 years now, and I never tire of perusing the countries and oceans, often slipping into a daydream of future travels :)
Our World Map printed wallpapers are available in different styles and colours. The map featured here is our Executive World Map (copyright Maps International) and is available to buy online here
All our maps can be produced to fit any size wall, floor or window space, alternatively, set sizes are available to buy from our website.
